Harrison has been fencing competitively for 10 years. He was a 4 year starting varsity fencer at Riverdale Country School where he served as co-captain his junior and senior years. During his tenure at Riverdale, Fox set a freshman wins record (32-11), helped the team capture the Hopkins Triangular Cup in 2009 and 2010, and was a two-time runner up at the Mamaroneck Invitational in 2009 and 2010.

Fox is a member of the Fencer’s Club in New York where his coach is Kornel Udvarhelyi. Some of his top results include a 1st place at the 2009 Pomme de Terre Unclassified Epee tournament, and a top 64 finish at the 2010 Summer Nationals in Atlanta in Div II Epee tournament.

Outside of fencing Harrison loves movies, watching the Yankees, trivia, and debating about the ever-changing Ethiopian political climate.

Zen Yui's picture

Zen has been fencing épée since 2004, and has been competitive nationally since the 2006 junior olympics. Originally from the DC Fencers Club, he has achieved 5th place in the Mid-Atlantic U19 Summer Nationals Qualifiers, 5th Place in Division II Summer Nationals, and earned his A rating in 2009
Zen has trained domestically under DCFC coaches Janusz Smolenski and Robert Suchorski, as well as internationally under Notre Dame Coach Marek Stepien and Polish fencing master Zbigniew Czajkowski.  He worked and competed with the Polish Mens Junior Team in Drzoncow, PL, and with the Italian and British national team members in Wisła, PL.

A part-time employee of DC Fencers Club, Zen taught youth fencing classes throughout the season, and runs a 3-week youth fencing camp ever July.  Currently a student of the School of Hotel Administration, he hopes to enter the food and beverage industry. He plays guitar and piano in his free time and manages a privately owned beverage manufacturing company, DREAMBEV.

A transfer student from Boston College in Spring 2009, MJ quickly became an active member of the team. Since joining, he achieved a .600 MACFA win percentage, the highest of any saberist in 2008-2009.  He has recently joined the South Korean Army, and will be returning to Cornell in 2012.
Prior to Cornell:  MJ started fencing his freshman year at the Lawrenceville School in New Jersey. Although he had no prior experience with the sport, he quickly got absorbed in fencing and became a starting member of the Saber squad his freshman year. MJ led the Lawrenceville fencing team his senior year and received The Sieja Fencing Trophy. After Lawrenceville, he fenced as the second alternate for one semester at Boston College while he had a guaranteed transfer to Cornell.
Personal: MJ lived both in Korea and New Jersey.  He is a student in the school of Hotel Administration.
