At Cornell: Bryan began fencing at Cornell this year and has succeeded at a high level. He placed 54th at the Garret Open, 71st at the Temple Open, and went 28-22 during the 2008-2009 MACFA season.

Prior to Cornell: Bryan  fenced for Newark Academy in Livingston, NJ. During his junior year, he placed sixth in District 3. He was Epee Squad Captain his senior year. He helped lead his Epee squad to third in District 3 his junior year and fourteenth at Squad State Championships.
