Greg Calosso

Bio: Greg began fencing in sophomore year of high school on his school’s varsity team where he was then sabre team captain in his junior and senior year. He studied under Leonid Kvurt at the North Shore Fencer’s Club in Long Island in his junior year. In his senior year he was ranked as one of the Top-10 sabrists in Nassau County. Last year as a Freshman on the Cornell Men’s Fencing Team, Greg’s record fell just shy of .500 in MACFA play as the only sabrist who fenced in every MACFA bout. He also placed 4th on C Strip in MACFA Champs and made his debut in USACFC Championships as a starter where the CUMFC Sabre squad placed 7th overall. Greg also continued the CUMFC - Delta Chi Fraternity tradition in Spring ‘07 following Zach Shub-Essig, Dmitry Dvoskin, and James Roll.
